Actress Dame Patricia Routledge, renowned for embodying the character Hyacinth Bucket in the classic TV sitcom the series Keeping Up Appearances, has passed away at the 96 years old, according to.
Beyond that, she appeared in Alan Bennett's TV monologues and portrayed the BBC's crime-solving retiree Hetty Wainthropp.

A Life in the Spotlight
Patricia Routledge was best known as the character Hyacinth Bucket - pronounced "bouquet" - a funny persona who exemplified the height of English pretension and snobbery.

This classic sitcom was broadcast from 1990 to 95, and the following year she was chosen as the most beloved female performer at the BBC's 60th anniversary awards.
